The
LYO, their sponsors and parents, are planning to attend the T-Bones
Minor League Baseball game, on Sunday, August 31.
Departure time is yet to be determined but the game is at 1:00 p.m. We
will meet at church to go
to Kansas City (to the Legends area). We need to know who can go so that
we can get tickets. Parents – we also need drivers – please let us
know if you could help out!!
Coming Up – We
are hoping to plan a Mystery Murder Dinner
closer to Halloween. If any of the youth (or parents) want to take this on
as their pet project, please let the sponsors know!
Youth Gathering –
The theme of the 2009 Youth Gathering in New Orleans is Jesus, Justice,
Jazz. We will be working with Kris Luber at First Lutheran to
see if we can coordinate travel, etc. with some of the other churches in
the area. Mark your calendars for July 22-26, 2009.
